The FREESTEP is the newest generation of Alpine snow shoes from the high-tech industry in France. The new concept combines the advantages of the natural step (double jointed), reinforced by crampons with differentiated profile and an ultra-light frame. 4 Crampons are arranged in 4 different directions, to give support in any any connection between direction and slope. Avoid also the formation of a slip axle. Are the front and rear spikes of each group slightly longer on hard snow "ice axe effect" to produce. The metal teeth are designed so that snow it can stick. Exclusive on this model - Perimetral frame: this framework offers two harsh similar cutting edges on each side. The area of the border in the area of the main appearance point of snow shoe is wider. Therefore, you get more stability in the irregular or deep snow. The frame is strengthened thereby and keeps the targeted track through the snow. This concept reduces the weight of the frame by 20%, as compared to classical framework.
