Dome Tent with Canopy ERIE 3 - 4 Man Camping Tent by BB Sport
A trekking-tent for a large scale of uses, well thought out, pleasing and with an ideal prce-performance ratio - the ERIE.
When it comes to Erie, you will not let yourself get worked up anymore. The pitching is relaxed thanks to its easy crossed dome and followed by a carefree camping time. The breathable inner tent is made of 170T polyester and protects from insects and condensed water. It also offers space for 3 to 4 people at generous dimensions of 195 x 213 x 138 cm. The canopy scores with additional storage room for your luggage and a possibility to keep out bad weather.
In order to be safe and dry from intense rainstorms, ERIE is equipped with a pulled-up floor and a sturdy and tear-proof PU-flysheet with a hydrostatic head of 3000 mm. This is additionally coated and all seams are taped.

Additional Information – Hydrostatic head/Water Column
The water-proof level of the tent fabric is shown in millimeters. With a water column of at least 1500 millimeters a tent is considered as water-proof, according to DIN. As the tent floor provides a higher density it even resists against local water pressure, e.g. when kneeing on the floor.
Although the water column of the fly sheet of 3000 mm seems to be very high you should always consider when buying a tent, that strong wind pushes the rain against the tent with a high pressure. In this condition a high water column is a great advantage.
As the seams are subject to high tension and even perfect seams lose their strength after a while, we recommend to control the seams regularly and to carry a repair kit with you to be able to densify the seams.
